You can connect invideo to ChatGPT on the web using Developer mode. After connecting, select invideo in a conversation and ask ChatGPT to work on your video project.
Developer mode is available on eligible Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts. Availability also depends on your workspace settings.
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login.
Turn on Developer mode.
Open ChatGPT Plugins and select the + button.
Enter invideo as the name. Add a short description, such as “Create and edit video timelines in invideo Editor.”
Under Connection, enter this MCP server URL and complete the connection:
https://mcp-v2.invideo.io/mcpStart a new conversation. Open the + menu, choose Developer mode and select invideo.
Send a request such as:
Use invideo to show me my projects.
Complete the invideo sign-in when prompted.
Once connected, tell ChatGPT which project to open and describe your edit. Open the invideo Editor link it provides to review the result and make your own adjustments.
What if Developer mode is missing?
Check that you are using ChatGPT on the web with an eligible account. If you belong to a managed workspace, ask your workspace administrator whether developer mode is enabled for you.
