What’s changing?
We’ve simplified how usage is measured on invideo. Now:
AI minutes are counted only when creating videos using stock media with your own avatar or for faceless videos.
Credits are used when creating videos that include generative media (with or without an actor), or when using stock media with an actor.
Previously, both AI minutes and generative credits were used simultaneously. By separating them, we’re giving customers more clarity and value for their plan.
This change makes it easier to track your usage across different types of videos while improving flexibility based on your workflow.

When do these changes take effect?
New users: The new system has been in effect since June 13, 2025.
Existing paid plan users: You will see your available credits updated automatically as per the new system on your Usage page.
For customers using V4.0: The new credit system applies only to videos created using V4.0. For customers using V3 your usage will still be tracked in terms of AI minutes, iStock, and generative credits. The breakdown remains unchanged for those versions.

Why are these changes being made?
As we continue to improve the platform with newer, more advanced AI models, better video quality, and expanded features, we’ve updated our credit system to reflect these upgrades and offer a more consistent way to measure usage.
What do I need to do now?
1. Any add-ons you’ve purchased will continue as-is unless cancelled. You can manage and review them from your 'Subscription' page at any time.
2. Changes to Pricing: These changes are designed to reflect the increased value offered through our newer AI models, improved video quality, and added features.
