How credits are charged when using AI Agents

Introduction

Credits work a little differently in AI Agents than in standard video creation. What you're charged depends on the models the agent uses to generate your media and how much it creates in each exchange.

Every time the agent responds to you, it may be doing several things at once, reasoning through your brief, generating images, producing video clips, designing voice, and more. Each of these actions draws from your credit balance based on the specific models running in the background.

The mode you choose directly affects how many credits are used per generation.

Lite, Pro and Ultra: what's the difference?

AgentOne lite: Fast and credit-efficient. Built for sketching, testing, and early-stage creative work. Great for when you want to move quickly and iterate freely.

AgentOne pro: Premium quality across the board. Best for final output and production-ready work. Higher credit cost per generation.

AgentOne ultra: A quality upgrade you can push on top of Pro. Use it when you want the absolute best output, 4K resolution on video, upscaled images, the highest ceiling on quality.

How to check credits used

After the agent completes a response, click the three dots (···) on that message to see exactly how many credits were charged for that exchange, covering both the conversation and all media generated within it.

To see the total credits used across an entire project, close the Agent window and click the three dots on the top right-hand corner, and select Project Usage..

If you'd like to set a credit limit per project to control spending, this is available on the Team and Enterprise plans.

💡 For a full breakdown of credit costs by model, resolution, and duration, see the video model pricing page.

Staying in control of generations

By default the agent is set to Always allow, meaning it generates directly without asking for permission. If you'd prefer more control, click the permission toggle from the chat box and select either:

  1. Ask before generating videos - the agent will ask for approval before generating video specifically.

  2. Always ask before generating - the agent will ask for permission before any generation.

When the agent asks for approval you'll see an Approve popup showing exactly what it's about to create, the prompt, model, duration, and aspect ratio. You can approve as-is or adjust any of these before confirming.

This is especially useful when you want tighter control over credit usage, reviewing each generation before it runs means no surprises on your credit balance.
