Use the Audio workspace in invideo Editor to balance sound across your timeline.
Use Color to adjust the appearance of your shots. Both workspaces let you refine the same edit without moving to another application.
Mix audio
1. Open a timeline containing sound and select Audio at the top.
2. Find your audio tracks, such as A1, A2 and A3, and their corresponding controls in the Audio Track Mixer.
3. Play a section containing dialogue and music. Identify which tracks carry each part of the mix.
4. Adjust the relevant faders while listening. Keep speech understandable and bring the other sounds into balance around it.
5. Use a track's solo control to listen to it separately or mute to silence it. Return to the full mix to check the result.
6. Listen across the whole sequence before exporting.
If you cannot hear a track, check that it contains audio at the playhead, inspect mute and solo settings, and check its fader level. Also confirm your device's playback output and volume.
Adjust color
1. Select Color at the top and choose the shot you want to adjust.
2. Review the shot in the Monitor and open Basic Correction in the Color Grading panel.
3. Make a small adjustment to the relevant control, such as brightness, contrast or exposure.
4. Use Temperature and Tint when the shot's color balance needs attention.
5. Compare the shot with its neighbors and review the transition in playback.
The workspace also includes Color Wheels, Tone Curve and Scopes for more detailed adjustments. Change one control at a time so you can see its effect. Matching slider values across different shots will not necessarily make them look alike.
Manual audio mixing and color adjustments are free. Asking an AI agent to do work uses credits. An export loudness target concerns the delivered audio; the track faders control the balance of your mix.
