Snapping helps align clips with timeline reference points as you position them in invideo Editor. It is useful when you want adjoining clips to meet cleanly instead of leaving a small accidental gap.
After positioning a clip, zoom in and check the join. Listen across the edit as well as watching it: correct visual alignment does not by itself guarantee a smooth audio transition. Check linked audio too whenever you reposition footage.
