If audio waveforms look too faint or are difficult to inspect, you can adjust their opacity, style and display scale from the Audio waveform settings.
Open Settings at the top right of the editor.
Find the Audio waveform section.
Increase Opacity if the waveforms are too faint.
Choose a Style: RMS, Outline or Peaks.
Choose a Channels display: Loudest, Average or Stereo.
Select a Linear or Logarithmic scale.
The Noise floor setting applies only to the logarithmic scale.
Waveform opacity applies to the timeline, source monitor and media browser. In the Audio view, each channel always has its own lane.
