How do I use invideo MCP?

Connect your AI agent to invideo and start editing a video timeline.

To use invideo MCP, connect invideo to your preferred AI app, then describe the video or edit you want. Your agent works on the timeline, and you can review the result in invideo Editor.

You’ll need an invideo account and an AI app that supports the connection. You can create an invideo account during sign-in if needed.

  1. Open the setup page.
    Go to invideo MCP.

  2. Choose your AI app.
    Select the app you want to use and copy its setup prompt.

  3. Send the prompt to your agent.
    Paste it into your agent’s chat. Follow the instructions it provides to complete the connection. Depending on your app, you may need to approve a settings change or restart the app.

  4. Sign in to invideo when prompted.
    Complete the sign-in through your AI app so the agent can work in your invideo account.

  5. Describe your first edit.
    Tell the agent what you want to create or change and provide any media it needs.

    For example:

  6. Review the timeline.
    Open the invideo Editor link your agent provides. Changes appear as the agent makes them, and you can adjust the timeline manually.

Can I connect manually?

Yes. On the invideo MCP setup page, choose your app and select Set it up yourself.

When your app asks for the MCP server URL, enter:
