What does 'Hooks' mean for my video?

Updated this week

The option for "Hooks" in a video typically refers to how many attention-grabbing moments or engaging elements (like dramatic lines, quick cuts, surprising facts, or strong visuals) are included to keep viewers interested, especially in the first few seconds.

After inputting your prompt, AI actor, and brand/product, you'll see an option to generate different hooks for your video.

πŸ’‘ Note:

  • Creating multiple hooks by clicking the '+' button costs 4 credits per hook when creating the video using 'generative' media.

  • When you create a 30-second video using stock media with an actor, it costs 5 credits for one hook. If you add another hook by clicking the β€˜+’ button, the cost increases by 10%, so the total becomes 5.5 credits.

πŸ‘‡ Additional info:

  • You'll see this feature when you go with the AI twins, use the UGC Ad creation flow, or try making a promotional video ad

  • The AI might also adjust the visuals slightly when creating these different hooks, which could use additional credits.
