How do I show protected tracks that are hidden from the timeline?

Check the protected-track visibility setting.

If a protected track is missing from view, Hide protected tracks may be enabled.

  1. Open Settings at the top right of the editor.

  2. Find the Timeline section.

  3. Clear the Hide protected tracks checkbox.

You can turn off this setting to show protected tracks on the timeline.
