How do I show a clip’s keyframes on the timeline?

Display the keyframes for the property you want to inspect.

You can display a clip’s keyframes directly on the timeline to inspect how its opacity, position or another animated property changes over time.

  1. Right-click the clip on the timeline.

  2. Open Show Clip Keyframes.

  3. Select the property whose keyframes you want to display.

The available properties include Opacity, Position X, Position Y, Zoom X, Zoom Y, Anchor X, Anchor Y and Rotation.

For example, select Opacity to inspect the keyframes controlling the clip’s visibility.
