When creating a video

1. Insufficient Generative Credits -

If you encounter a paywall while creating a video, it's usually because your account has low or insufficient generative credits. Each video you generate using "generative media" consumes a specific number of generative credits based on its duration.

For example:

  • A 1-minute video requires 60 generative credits

  • A 2-minute video requires 120 generative credits, and so on.

If your available generative credits aren’t enough to complete the video, you’ll see a paywall offering the option to purchase additional credits. You can either proceed with the payment or dismiss the pop-up and opt to create the video using stock media instead. Note: Generative media and stock media are different.

For more details on how generative credits are calculated, check out this article: How are Generative Credits counted?

2. AI Minutes are depleted

Another reason you might see a paywall is if you’ve exhausted your AI minutes. AI minutes are calculated based on the total duration of your video.

For example:

  • If you create a 2-minute video, 2 AI minutes will be deducted from your available balance.

When downloading a video

If you're prompted to make a payment when downloading a video, it's likely due to the usage of iStock media exceeding your allocated limit.

Our paid plans include unlimited access to standard stock media from Storyblocks, Shutterstock, Pexels, and Pixabay at no extra cost. Additionally, each plan comes with a set number of royalty-free iStock media credits per month.

Since iStock media is valued at over $1,000 per month, these credits offer significant value within our paid plans.
