What’s the credit cost to create an Ad?

Updated yesterday

The number of credits consumed depends on the type of actors or visuals involved, whether it’s your own cloned AI Twin, Human or Virtual Avatars from our library.

🤓 Good to know:

On Invideo AI, UGC Ads are designed to be short-form, typically around 1 minute or less. Creating longer videos, like 5 or 10 minutes, isn't supported in this workflow.

Once you select a human avatar or a virtual avatar, you'll see a pop-up indicating that 120 generative credits will be charged.

But the actual credit usage depends on what kind of ad the AI classifies your video as. When you use keywords like UGC or Ad, the AI automatically classify it into one of the following categories

👇 Here’s a breakdown:

⚡️Generative UGC Ad

⚡️Generative Media Ad

Stock Media Ad

Real Human Avatar

120 Generative credits

No AI mins will be charged

90 Generative credits

No AI mins will be charged

60 Generative credits

No AI mins will be charged

A virtual Avatar or your own AI Twin

120 Generative credits

No AI mins will be charged

90 Generative credits

No AI mins will be charged

You’ll be charged for AI minutes

💡 Note:

  • When choosing the Generative Media Ad option, if you attach a product or brand link, the AI will generate fresh visuals from scratch; it won’t use your cloned product. If you want the AI to use your cloned product, which is selected, go with the Generative UGC Ad option instead.

  • Selecting a Real Human Avatar from our library in the Stock Media Ad flow will cost you 60 generative credits, since the individual whose digital likeness you're using is fairly compensated.

  • If you include more than one human or virtual avatar in your project, the total credits required will automatically adjust and reflect accordingly.

If your prompt doesn’t include terms like UGC or Ad, the AI will follow the normal flow, as shown below.

❗️Important

If you choose a Human Avatar and enter a general prompt like “Create a video about football” (or anything similar) and select 'generative media' from the flow, it’ll cost you 30 generative credits additional for using the Human Avatar. This helps ensure the person behind the digital likeness is fairly compensated.

For example, if you create a 1-minute video using a Human Avatar and generative media, here’s how the cost breaks down:

  • 30 credits for the Human Avatar

  • 1 AI minute for the video length

  • 60 generative credits for using AI-generated media.
